Combines high-level industry and consulting experience with a successful record in international trade and business journalism. Former IBM systems engineer. Became regular contributor to the Economist, BusinessWeek, Newsweek, New Scientist (European editor), Computerworld, SCRIP, Electronics and the BBC, as well as other industry publications in eight countries.
